.. _U3.12.01: **u3.12.01** Modelings DKT - DST - - Q4G - DKTG - Q4GG ========================================================= **Summary:** This document describes for the DKT - DST - Q4G - Q4G - DKTG - Q4GG models: * the degrees of freedom carried by the finite elements that support modeling, * the related support meshes, * the loads supported, * non-linear possibilities, * test cases implementing the models. They can be used for three-dimensional plate problems [:external:ref:`R3.07.03 `] in linear mechanical analysis for all models and in non-linear material for DKT, DKTGet Q4GG models only. Their use for shell problems is commonly accepted considering that the plane of the element is similar to a facet tangent to the middle layer of the shell (attention, only plane facets are allowed).
