GMSH is a modeling, meshing and post-processing tool released under the GNU - GPL license (https://gmsh.info, executables, sources and documentation available on this site).

Here we describe the principle of the interface that allows you to use a file from GMSH in *Aster*.

This interface is implemented in*Aster* by the PRE_GMSH [:external:ref:`U7.01.31 <U7.01.31>`] command.
