**u2.08.09** Nonlinear mesh adaptation
===================================================

**Summary:**

This document presents the methodology for carrying out a non-linear study with mesh adaptation. This adaptation of the mesh during the transition is obtained using the software HOMARD called via the MACR_ADAP_MAIL [:external:ref:`U7.03.01 <U7.03.01>`] command.

An example illustrates the possibilities and the implementation of remeshing strategies.
