.. _U2.06.11: **u2.06.11** Analysis of the seismic behavior of large metal reservoirs ============================================================================ **Summary:** The objective of this document is to describe the various steps to be implemented in *Code_Aster* to perform the numerical simulation of the earthquake resistance of large metal reservoirs. These thin metal structures can then present two preferred methods of failure: breakage of the anchors or buckling of the shells. The first approach is based on a push-over regulatory method. In addition, it is possible to use a nonlinear stability criterion (*cf.* documentation [:ref:`U2.08.04 `] and test cases SSLL105 and SSNL126). The second approach is direct transient modeling with full consideration of the fluid domain through a coupled fluid-structure approach in large displacements (modeling similar to that of test case FDNV100). This transitory analysis can also be combined with a non-linear stability analysis, as test case FDNV100 also shows. .. toctree:: :hidden: self .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :numbered: Introduction Pr_sentation_de_la_probl_matique Approche_quasi-statique_push-over Approche_transitoire_coupl_e Bibliographie
