**Summary:**

This document presents the fracture mechanics operators available in *Code_Aster* as part of the classical approach. The classical approach is limited to non-linear elasticity. Tips for use are given.

It is advisable to have read the general methodological guide in fracture mechanics, which lists the different approaches available [:ref:`U2.05.00 <U2.05.00>`].
