**u2.02.03** Instructions for using discrete elements

**Summary:**

This document is a user manual for discrete element models.

Discrete elements are used in the numerical modeling of stiffness, damping or masses located on a node (mesh "POI1") or between two nodes (mesh "SEG2"). Their degrees of freedom are generalized movements.

They can be used in linear or non-linear mechanics.
