.. _U2.01.11: **u2.01.11** Instructions for using the manipulation of fields and tables =========================================================================== **Summary:** The objective of this document is to provide the user with some recipes related to manipulating fields or tables. In this document, the cases of manipulation of the following fields are described: * Continue with a STAT_NON_LINE calculation after removing or adding elements to the model (e.g. digging a tunnel, installing layers of a dam); * Define a state of initial constraints (or internal variables) based on "analytical formulas"; * Apply pressure to a part (not provided for in the mesh) of the edge of a 3D structure; * Calculate the integral of the stresses or of a quantity derived on the edge of a 3D structure; * Read a constant field by elements and project it to the nodes of the mesh.
