Summary:

The purpose of this document is to provide some information on the choice of finite elements and their associated modeling in the case of thermal, thermo-mechanical or non-linear mechanical studies. In a way, it is a question of offering the user a prior choice, making it possible to avoid certain common mistakes. In case of particular difficulties, other choices may be made.
