1. Launch of ASTK

• Create a new study.

• Start « ASTK » from the Tools menu → Plugins → code_aster → Run astk

• Data the calculation with ASTK:

  Click on the icon ``Choose the base path`` and go to the directory*$ SALOME_ROOT /$ LABEL_ $ FLAVOUR /tools/code_aster_stable-xxxx/share/aster/tests

  containing the*forma02a.comm* and*forma02a.mmed* files where “SALOME_ROOT” is the salome_meca installation directory (/opt/salome_meca in a container environment, for example), $ LABEL *and the name of the version,*$ FLAVOUR * that of the platform and xxxx the version number (for example 1540 for 15.4.0)

  Click on the ``Search and insert a new entry`` icon and select the*forma02a.comm file

  Click on the ``Search and insert a new entry`` icon and select the*forma02a.mmed file

  Click on the menu ``File`` → ``Save as`` →*forma02a.astk (in a directory with user rights, typically home)

  • Click on the icon ``Insert a new entry in the list »

  In the type column of this new entry, select*rmed

  Fill in the path*$ HOME /forma02a.rmed

  • Right click on Default value in the name column of this entry

  Repeat to insert.resu*,*.erre*, and*.mess* files with Default value.

• Start the calculation: check the interactive follow-up box

• Click on the Run button

• Calculation monitoring

\(\mathrm{\Rightarrow }\) Verify that the calculation status is ENDED OK in window ASJOB.
