6. Refreshing the table#

The operator POST_USURE extrapolates the spent volume obtained in a few seconds of simulation to durations defined by the user (typically a few months, or even a few years).

It returns a table that contains the volumes used and the depths of wear for all the sectors and all the moments defined by the user by accumulating them since the initial moment of the simulation.

It is possible to give a table to be updated using the ETAT_INIT keyword. This makes it possible to monitor the evolution of geometries linked to wear:

  • Based on a game figure, the user carries out a dynamic calculation.

  • It gets volumes and wear depths as a result of POST_USURE.

  • It performs a new dynamic calculation with the modified game pattern.

  • He deduces new quantities related to wear and accumulates them in the result table for POST_USURE.

By iterating the process a certain number of times [bib9], it is possible to take into account the evolution of geometries as a function of wear and to deduce the impact of this phenomenon on the dynamics of the system studied.
