.. _R7.02.15: **r7.02.15** Modelling cracks with hydro-mechanical coupling in saturated porous media ============================================================================================ **Summary:** A new joint element is proposed allowing discontinuities with hydromechanical coupling to be modelled in 2D. This element is used to mesh a crack or a crack path in a mesh of conventional solid THM elements in the case of a saturated porous material. It makes it possible to model the behavior of a hydraulic seal or a crack under fluid pressure. Here we present the equations constituting mechanics and hydraulics in cracks as well as the corresponding laws of behavior. The discretization adopted and the internal force vector and the tangent operator introduced in operator STAT_NON_LINE are also detailed.
