.. _R7.02.06: **r7.02.06** Bordet and Rice and Tracey models ==================================================== **Summary** The foundations of local fracture models that make it possible to model fragile rupture (Bordet model) and ductile priming (Rice and Tracey model) are recalled. In the case of the fragile fracture model (Bordet), we describe how the probability of failure of a structure is calculated based on the knowledge of the mechanical fields stressing it. By considering the general case of a non-monotonic thermomechanical loading path and by assuming that some parameters of the models do not depend on temperature, we establish the general expression of the cumulative failure probabilities. Then, the model leading to the Rice and Tracey cavity growth law and the related ductile priming criterion are presented. Finally, indications concerning the implementation of these models in*code_aster* are summarized. .. toctree:: :hidden: self .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :numbered: Introduction Le_mod_le_de_Bordet Le_mod_le_de_Rice_et_Tracey Bibliographie
