**r4.10.07** Calculation of the error in relation to behavior in dynamics under a frequency formulation

**Summary:**

This document presents the principle of calculating the error in relation to behavior (ERC). In this document, the resolution of such a problem is restricted to the case of linear dynamics under the frequency formalism.

Several uses can motivate the use of solving a ERC problem in linear dynamics:


* The expansion of data measured on a numerical model (field reconstruction),


* The use of the ERC function as a cost function in a readjustment or identification problem,


* The spatial location of defects in a numerical model based on measurements.

The resolution operator for ERC is CALC_ERC_DYN [:ref:`u4.53.41 <u4.53.41>`].
