4. Implementation in Code_Aster

The Code_Aster finite element library has been enriched with five iso-parametric surface elements whose degrees of freedom are the deflection of the free surface and the potential for fluid movements at the free surface. They are compatible with 3D elements that deal with the fluid/structure coupling problem [bib3]

We name:

MEFP_FACE3 and MEFP_FACE6 respectively the triangles with 3 or 6 knots,

MEFP_FACE4, MEFP_FACE8 and MEFP_FACE9 respectively the quadrangles with 4, 8, or 9 knots.

These elements belong to the 2D_ FLUI_PESA modeling of the MECANIQUE phenomenon.
