r4.02.03 Elasto-acoustic beam#

Summary:

A straight elasto-acoustic coupling element is presented that is applied to a Timoshenko beam-type structural element. This element makes it possible to carry out, in vibro-acoustics, the modal analysis of a straight pipe containing fluid under pressure (water, steam, etc.). It is also possible to perform response calculations to fluid sources (mass flow, volume, pressure) by modal recombination. The boundary conditions applicable to the nodes of these elements are of the Dirichlet type: displacement, pressure or potential may be imposed on them.
