.. _R3.08.09: **r3.08.09** Multi-fiber beams in large movements ========================================================= **Summary:** This document presents the treatment of large displacements of the multi-fiber beam element POU_D_TGM activated by the keyword DEFORMATION =' GROT_GDEP '. It makes it possible to combine both material nonlinearity (description of the fiber section) and geometric nonlinearity. The description of major movements remains approximate and assumes small time steps. This element is suitable for characterizing the ruin of truss structures. Note1: The treatment of large displacements for the other beam elements is described in [:ref:`R3.08.01 `].
