**r3.07.06** Eccentricity treatment for plate elements DKT, DST,, DKQ, dsq, and q4g

**Summary:**

[:ref:`R3.07.03 <R3.07.03>`] plate elements are intended for the calculations of three-dimensional thin structures. The middle layer of these structures does not always coincide with the draft plane or mesh plane. The concept of eccentricity of the middle sheet with respect to the drawing plane is therefore introduced. It can be used for elements taking into account transverse shear, or without this hypothesis.
