1. Introduction

The macro command CALC_ESSAI brings together a set of functionalities in compute-test correlation, controllable through a graphical interface in Python Tk:

• expansion of experimental data on the basis of numerical deformations (via the macro-command MACRO_EXPANS),

• structural modification of a structure known by a base of experimental methods and a simplified numerical model,

• identification of efforts on a structure based on inter-spectrum data and a base of specific modes describing its behavior,

• calculation of filtered and averaged spectra (via the macro command CALC_SPEC),

• visualization of modal deformations, curves and matrices of MAC in Salomé or in tools associated with Aster (GMSH, Xmgrace, Tk).

Macro-control is a distant descendant of the MEIDEE software, which was used in the 90s to identify turbulent forces on tubular structures (such as steam generator tubes or assembly lines).
