Introduction

What is called "loading" in Aster (the vocabulary of "mechanics") is what the user defines in commands AFFE_CHAR_ *. In general, a distinction is made between "force" loads [:external:ref:`D5.03.01 <D5.03.01>`] and "displacement" loads (or "kinematics").

This document explains how to introduce new kinematic loads.
