**d5.02.01** Introduce a new quantity (or a new component)

**Summary:**

This document describes what to do to introduce a new quantity into Code_Aster or a new component into an existing quantity.

In a few words, to add a quantity, you must:


* modify the catalog describing the sizes,


* add the name of the size in an order catalog.

To introduce a component into an existing quantity, all you need to do is:


* to enrich the size catalog.
