1. Generalities

The sd_macr_elem_dyna data structure contains the projection of the stiffness, mass and possibly damping matrices of a substructure on a previously selected basis.

It also contains the projection of the load if a loading is applied to the substructure.

An sd_nume_ddl data structure is attached to the sd_macr_elem_dyna data structure. Reference is made to it for the fictional numbering of the projection base vectors.

In order to ensure compatibility with the sd_macr_elem_stat, data is repeated in different objects in the data structure.

This data structure is used in dynamic substructuring calculations or in calculations with mixed modeling. In this case, the dynamic macro element is used as the supermesh of the model.
